Pulse Synergy - Drumming for PD
The Pulse Synergy - Drumming for Parkinson's class uses evidence-based group drumming to unite, support and uplift the participants. We delve into complex rhythms in order to challenge the brain to hear, think and respond in new ways. Accessing West African, Cuban, and other world rhythms, as well as the rhythm of language, we craft separate rhythms into interlocking patterns. Utilizing the drum circle format, participants gain the support of the group as we build in complexity, discovery and curiosity. In this setting the drum becomes a unifying tool for wellness and empowerment.
And it's really, really fun!
