Parkinson's Moving Day New Jersey

Pulse Synergy brought the beat to the Parkinson's Foundation's 2026 Moving Day New Jersey at Oak Ridge Park. GG led an interactive drum circle in the festival area, inviting participants to experience the energy and joy of making music together.

The circle filled with call-and-response rhythms, movement, and plenty of smiles. No musical experience was needed—just a willingness to pick up a drum and join the beat.

We were honored to be featured by the Parkinson's Foundation ahead of the event and grateful to everyone who played, moved, and connected with us on such a beautiful day.

A Dance Movement Therapy Workshop

From our friend Candace Williams Spirit Rising Dance & Wellness Foundation

We’re happy to share this introductory workshop from our friend Candace Williams and Spirit Rising. Licensed dance movement therapists Dr. Eri Millrod and Haley Gilbert will lead an afternoon of movement, self-expression, stress reduction, and connection. No dance experience is needed.

This is a donation-based event with a suggested donation of $25. Everyone is welcome, regardless of ability to pay.

Hopewell Harvest Fair with Boro Neuro

Pulse Synergy was delighted to join the Hopewell community at the Harvest Fair. Dr. Jill Farmer of Boro Neuro generously invited us to share her booth, where we connected with neighbors and talked about rhythm, music, mindfulness, and programs for people with Parkinson’s and their care partners.

Thank you to Dr. Farmer and Boro Neuro for welcoming Pulse Synergy and helping us share our work with the community.

We’re also excited to celebrate Boro Neuro’s beautiful new office, now open at 45 East Broad Street in Hopewell. Dr. Farmer and her husband spent three years renovating the space themselves, creating a comfortable and compassionate home for patient-centered neurology, lifestyle medicine, education, and reflection.

The Middletown Dance for Parkinson's Program is partnering with Ashley Marrero from Boston Scientific and Dr. Diviya Kaul, Director of the Movement Disorder Program at Jersey Shore Medical Center, to provide an educational event during their scheduled class time.

Dr. Kaul moved here from California last year with years of experience working with Parkinson's disease patients, and she has a background and passion in dance.

June 25, 2026 CMAP Using Your Wits

Melodies That Matter: Music, Memory, and the Mind

At the end of the Center for Modern Aging Princeton's Using Your Wits program, Pulse Synergy was invited to lead the final session on music, memory, and brain health.

A group of 25 participants joined the drumming activities, working with rhythm patterns that connected music, attention, memory, and laughter. It was a great way to bring the series to a lively, hands-on close.

Pulse Synergy was grateful to be included in such a thoughtful program and to share the room with participants who were ready to listen, play, and take part together.

Parkinson's Moving Day Bucks County

Pulse Synergy was glad to take part in the 2026 Parkinson's Moving Day Bucks County event, joining people with Parkinson's, care partners, friends, families, volunteers, and local teams for a strong day of community and support.

During the demonstration, participants joined in with drums, call-and-response rhythms, clapping, and movement. It was a pleasure to add Pulse Synergy's drumming to an event centered on awareness, fundraising, and encouragement for the Parkinson's community.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, played along, and helped make the day such a welcoming and energetic gathering.

Moving Day Kickoff at Cornerstone Clubs

Pulse Synergy participated in the Parkinson's Moving Day Kickoff event at Cornerstone Clubs, leading a shared drumming experience that built from call-and-response rhythms into a connected group exercise.
